Georgia Council for the Arts Scholarship
2026 South & Appalachian Creative Placemaking Summit
Memphis, Tennessee, April 21-24, 2026
Georgia Council for the Arts is offering scholarships for the Summit! Each scholarship will include free registration for the Summit and $600 towards travel expenses (hotel, airfare, gas, car rental, etc.)
Eligibility/Requirements:

Applicants must live and/or work in the state of Georgia.

The scholarships are open to both individuals and organizations

Individual/organization must have a significant interest in creative placemaking

Scholarship recipients will be required to attend a post-conference meeting to debrief, share lessons learned, and deepen local collaborations

No more than one scholarship award will be given to an organization

Scholarship recipients will receive complementary full registration to the Summit

Participants chosen must provide a 2026 W-9 and include the correct address for mailing a check reimbursement. Scholarship recipients must provide receipts to document travel expenses. The $600 travel reimbursement will be sent to recipients once receipts have been verified.

This scholarship is generously provided by the Georgia Council for the Arts, and, if selected, it is non-transferable.
