Georgia Council for the Arts Scholarship

Eligibility/Requirements:

The scholarships are open to both individuals and organizations

Applicants must live and/or work in the state of Georgia. Fulton County residents and organizations are not eligible

Preference will go for organizations and residents of rural counties in Georgia

Individual/organization must have a significant interest in creative placemaking

Scholarship recipients will be required to attend a post-conference meeting to debrief, share lessons learned, and deepen local collaborations

No more than one scholarship award will be given to an organization

Scholarship recipients will receive complementary full registration to the Summit

Participants chosen must provide a 2026 W-9 and include the correct address for mailing a check reimbursement. Scholarship recipients must provide receipts to document travel expenses. The $600 travel reimbursement will be sent to recipients once receipts have been verified

Eligible Scholarship recipients will be notified of the status of their applications by April 8, 2026.
This scholarship is generously provided by the Georgia Council for the Arts, and, if selected, it is non-transferable.
