Call for Volunteers

The South & Appalachia Creative Placemaking Summit invites you to apply for a volunteer role to support the Summit operations.

We are seeking people who are interested in the field of creative placemaking to serve in roles that include setting up and cleaning up, ushers, production assistance, attendee registration, and event assistance.

Volunteers who are selected will work a three-hour shift, with multiple shifts available. Volunteers will receive a day-pass for the Summit on the day you volunteer. Your pass will allow you to attend all sessions, networking events and tours once your shift is completed. Volunteers who work a full 8 hour shift, will receive a full day-pass to the Summit.

 

Volunteers are required to attend mandatory training on March 1, 2024. Two training sessions will be held at 10:30 am EST, and 2:30 pm EST via Zoom. Volunteers will also be expected to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
