The CPC Network is designed for creative professionals to learn the best practices of creative placemaking, creative entrepreneurship, and other creative practices through experts, peers, strategic conversations and bespoke experiences. The CPC Network also provides multiple networking opportunities through online and in-person convenings and other professional development opportunities.

Reinvent what it means to be “creative” in our communities and how to manifest creative practice as a solution for positive economic and social impact

To redefine creativity in practice though disassembling the narrative of “starving artists” or “arts are not essential”

Have openness, unity and respect for different opinions and life experiences

Encourage and support collaboration between the different professional disciplines that shape our communities in urban, suburban and rural areas

Develop new strategies and tactics for creative placemaking, creative entrepreneurship, funding models and other types of creative practices that will benefit the field
Members of the CPC Network include practitioners in cultural planning, arts administration, urban planning and design, community and economic development, architecture, real estate, arts education, and artistic practice.
The guiding principles will be supported by “pillars” which are the essential focus areas that will drive the program’s strategy, operations, and long-term goals. Each “pillar” will be led by a CPC Thought Leadership Partner will lead strategic conversations by posing questions, and providing starting points for ideas.
