The National Consortium for Creative Placemaking

How are real estate developers responding to creative placemaking? The Urban Land Institute, a Washington D.C.-based nonprofit education and research organization, recently published best practices for the industry. We interviewed the person who researched and wrote that report, Juanita Hardy.

Hardy spoke on a panel on creative placemaking at the 2019 Tom Tom Summit in Charlottesville, VA. We caught up with her there to record a podcast episode for CreativePlace. She recently finished a fellowship at ULI and still counts the organization as one of her consultancy clients. Have a listen.
